A Tribute to My Dad

IMG 7013

To the man who taught me what true strength really looks like…

not the loud kind, but the steady kind.

The kind that shows up every day,

even when life hits hard.

You taught me how to stand tall,

how to own my choices,

and how to walk through this world

with respect for others and for myself.

You showed me that a man isn’t measured

by what he says,

but by what he does….

by his honesty, his responsibility,

and the way he cares for the people he loves.

And yes, you taught me how to enjoy life, too—

how to raise a glass, have a drink, laugh deep,

and celebrate the moments that matter…

but to always do it with intention,

with discipline,

with responsibility.

Dad, everything I am,

every good part of me,

carries your fingerprints.

Thank you for the lessons,

the love,

and the example.

This one’s for you.

Drink—and be responsible.

Live—and be honorable.

And know that I’m grateful every day for the man who showed me how to be one.
